Balıkesir Metropolitan Belediyespor Club athlete Muhsine Gezer won the gold medal by breaking the 'Games' record with the Special Athletes Women's National Team at the 2023 VIRTUS Global Games. Gezer was also 2nd in the 800-meter individual relay race.

The 2023 VIRTUS Global Games took place on 2-11 June 2023 in Vichy, France, with the participation of nearly 1200 Paralympic Athletes from 70 countries. In the 4x100 meters Women's Relay Run, our Special Athletes Women's National Team, including Balıkesir Metropolitan Belediyespor Club athlete Muhsine Gezer, broke the games record and won the gold medal with a time of 51.86.

Balıkesir Metropolitan Belediyespor Club Athletics Branch athlete Muhsine Gezer placed 2nd in the 800 meter individual relay race. Balıkesir Metropolitan Belediyespor Mayor Yücel Yılmaz congratulated the athlete and expressed that he will achieve great success in the following competitions.
