In Balıkesir Zağnos Paşa Mosque, a funeral prayer in absentia was held for the Palestinians who lost their lives as a result of Israeli attacks. While hands were raised to the sky and prayers were offered for those who lost their lives as a result of the attacks, the Israeli massacre was condemned.

WE CONDEMN THIS ATROCITY

Making a statement in the garden of Zağnos Paşa Mosque after the funeral prayer, Mayor Yücel Yılmaz said, "We prayed for Gazan citizens, for children, for orphans and orphans. Our non-governmental organizations made a press statement. We condemn Israel. We expect all societies in the world to react to this atrocity as soon as possible."

After the Friday prayers in mosques across Balıkesir, the funeral prayers in absentia were held for Palestinians who lost their lives as a result of Israeli attacks. Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Yücel Yılmaz and Balıkesir Civil Society Platform together with "We are together at Friday Prayer to say 'STOP' to the oppression in Palestine. Come on, Balıkesir, the city of Kuva-yı Milliye! Let's be one heart" and invited the people of Balıkesir to Zağnos Paşa Mosque. Upon the call, Governor of Balıkesir İsmail Ustaoğlu, political party representatives, district mayors, military officials and thousands of citizens performed the funeral prayer in absentia at Zağnos Paşa Mosque with Palestinian and Turkish flag scarves around their necks. Hands were raised to the sky and prayers were offered for those who lost their lives as a result of the attacks, while the Israeli massacre was condemned. After the funeral prayer, members of Balıkesir Civil Society Platform chanted "We stand by the Palestinian resistance", "Jerusalem is ours and will remain ours", "Down with Israel", "Salute to Hamas, continue resistance", "Killer Israel, get out of Palestine", "Free Palestine" with Palestinian flags in their hands.
