Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality adds great value to the city with its urban touches in areas such as parks, roundabouts and refuges. Kocaseyit Overpass in Altıeylül District became like a flower thanks to the planting works.

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality is making big changes with small touches at many points to make the city more modern and aesthetic. Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation Planning, Rail Systems and Road Construction, Maintenance and Repair Departments carry out works such as parks, roundabouts, refuges, green areas and the Department of Urban Aesthetics crowns all the works with the final touch. The teams, which gave more than 150 intersections an aesthetic appearance, received full marks from the citizens for the arrangement and planting works carried out at the Koca Seyit Overpass at the intersection of Yeni İzmir and Bigadiç Street, which connects the Bahçelievler and Dinkçiler neighborhoods of Altıeylül District. The overpass, decorated with beautiful flowers, turned into a photo shooting area.
