Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Yücel Yılmaz examined the works initiated by the Metropolitan Municipality at Bandırma Sanayi and Etibor intersections and side roads to relieve the vehicle traffic in Bandırma. Mayor Yılmaz said, "The people of Bandırma are really good, they deserve the best of everything. We are in Bandırma with all our strength."

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality started the infrastructure and asphalting works of the side roads parallel to the highway between Sanayi and 600 Evler neighbourhoods in order to relieve Bandırma Sanayi and Etibor intersections where traffic is heavy in the morning and evening hours. Mayor Yılmaz, who examined the asphalt and refuge works together with AK Party District Chairman Mehmet Doğan and the accompanying delegation, laid the filling material before asphalt.

Stating that as the Metropolitan Municipality, they provide services to all districts with the slogan 'We are everywhere', Mayor Yılmaz said, "We are bringing Bandırma to the beauty it deserves with our new investments. We have many more projects for Bandırma. Some of them will be completed in a short time and some are being designed. We thank our fellow citizens of Bandırma for their kindness.  Every service we provide to Bandırma is reciprocated. We expect the support of our fellow citizens of Bandırma. We are completing everything from car parks to coastal arrangements, from new residential areas to water. We will further develop Bandırma in parallel with the development of our country.  We love Bandırma very much. Its people are very good and deserve the best of everything. We are in Bandırma with all our strength."
