Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has increased the comfort and quality of public transport services in Bandırma with new buses and reduced the fares. In Bandırma, where 565 million TL transportation investment was made by the Metropolitan Municipality and 55 new buses were commissioned, public transport fares were reduced upon the instruction of Metropolitan Mayor Yücel Yılmaz.

NEW REGULATION ON TRANSPORT FARES

The Metropolitan Municipality, which has made a new arrangement in public transport fares in the district, made a discount on public transport vehicles operating within its own structure. The full fare, which has been valid until today, was reduced from 13 liras to 11 liras with a 15 percent discount, while student fares were reduced from 9 TL to 6.50 TL with a 28 percent discount.
