A Great Deficiency is Being Eliminated in Balya

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has reached the end of the safe, modern, comfortable and state-of-the-art bus terminal and fire station built in Balya district. Orhan Gaga, Mayor of Balya Municipality, said, "A great deficiency of ours is being eliminated, and we thank our Metropolitan Municipality very much for this."

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has completed the construction of a safe, modern, comfortable and technologically equipped bus terminal and a state-of-the-art fire station in Balya district. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has added Balya District to the bus terminals that it has given a modern face within the scope of "Balıkesir Moves to the Future" project. At the same time, a new fire station with a state-of-the-art garage suitable for fire trucks is being constructed in order to respond to fire and disaster incidents that may occur in the district. The construction of the facility, which will meet the needs of both the fire brigade and the bus terminal of the district on a total area of 4 thousand 569 square metres, of which one thousand 104 square metres is closed, has come to an end in Kocacami Neighbourhood of Balya. The construction of the terminal, which is designed as safe, modern, comfortable and technologically equipped, and the fire station, which is also equipped with the latest technology, will be put into service in a short time.

ORHAN GAGA THANKED TO METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY

Pointing out that the terminal and fire brigade buildings are an important deficiency in Balya, Balya Mayor Orhan Gaga said, "The cost of the construction is covered by our Metropolitan Municipality. Therefore, we thank the Metropolitan Municipality."

FULLY EQUIPPED FIRE STATION

In the fire station, which is planned as 512 square metres in total, there are spaces suitable for the needs programme such as chief room, switchboard and rest room, training hall, maintenance and repair garage, kitchen, dormitory, prayer room, bathroom, wc and technical volumes.

MODERN TERMINAL

The 592 square metre, single-storey terminal building has a waiting area, five ticket sales and warehouses, administrative office, police, luggage room, infirmary, male-female masjid and ablution room, baby care room, infirmary, male-female wc and cafeteria units with independent entrance and open seating area.
