Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, which serves an average of 33 thousand passengers daily with 296 bus drivers by prioritizing the safety and comfort of citizens, continues to train its drivers without interruption.

The trainings that Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz has been giving to bus drivers in certain periods since 2019 in order to provide safe and comfortable transportation service to the people of Balıkesir continue uninterruptedly. The drivers of Balıkesir Public Transportation Inc. (BTT), a subsidiary of the Metropolitan Municipality, which serves an average of 33 thousand passengers daily with 296 bus drivers on 220 lines and 1,394 trips across the city, successfully completed the solution-focused communication trainings.

Thanks to the trainings aimed at improving communication skills, proactively resolving difficulties, emphasizing corporate awareness and perfecting the service concept, a friendly and respectful communication takes place between bus drivers and passengers.

TRAININGS ARE REFLECTED IN PRACTICE

The drivers of the Metropolitan Municipality, who have recently brought the citizens who got sick on the buses in Balıkesir Center and Bandırma district to the hospital in the fastest and coolest way, effectively apply the trainings they have received while performing their duties.
