Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality is launching the "Mothers to Sports, Children to Play" project to support the participation of mothers with children between the ages of 3-6 in sports. Free transportation will be provided for the event to be held at Ali Hikmet Paşa Sports Complex.

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality transformed Ali Hikmet Paşa Sports Facilities into a fully equipped sports and living complex and put it back into service for the use of all citizens. Implementing the "Mothers to Sports, Children to Play" project for mothers with children between the ages of 3-6 at the sports complex, where citizens as well as Amateur Sports Clubs can make the most of it, the Metropolitan Municipality held the introductory meeting of the project at the Avlu Congress Center with more than 700 mothers and their children who applied. Within the scope of the project, women will do sports 2 days a week in the fully equipped fitness center at Ali Hikmet Paşa Sports Complex, accompanied by expert female trainers. Mothers who will participate in the "Mothers to Sports, Children to Play" project, which will also provide physiotherapist and dietician support, will be transported to the sports complex by a free shuttle service departing from Balıkesir Public Transportation Center.

PLAY AND ACTIVITY AREA FOR CHILDREN

Thanks to the "Mothers to Sports, Children to Play" project implemented by Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz to support the participation of mothers with young children who have no one to take care of them in healthy life activities, mothers will gain healthy life awareness by doing regular and healthy sports, while children will have fun in the play and activity area specially created for them, accompanied by a supervisor.

The mothers who participated in the project expressed their satisfaction and thanked Yücel Yılmaz, Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, and stated that they enjoyed participating in the project.
