Under the leadership of Mayor Yücel Yılmaz, the Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to work with determination to move Balıkesir to the top in ovine production, distributed breeding rams to 81 breeders in Kepsut district. Making its sixth distribution in Kepsut, the Metropolitan Municipality has distributed a total of 762 breeding animals in the last 4 years.

Supporting small producers in Balıkesir, the capital of agriculture and animal husbandry, the Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts under the leadership of Mayor Yücel Yılmaz to make production more quality and efficient and to contribute to the city economy by increasing the added value of the producers. Since the day Mayor Yücel Yılmaz took office, 5 Balıkesir Lamb Breeding Production Centers have been established in the city and the breeders produced in these centers have been brought together with the producers in order to increase productivity in production by ensuring blood change in ovine production and to obtain quality flocks.

BALIKESİR METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY REALIZED THE MOST PASTURE IMPROVEMENT

Working with determination to bring Balıkesir to the top in ovine breeding, the Metropolitan Municipality is the municipality that has improved the most pastures in Türkiye, exceeding 10 thousand acres in pasture improvement. The Metropolitan Municipality, which delivered 81 breeding rams to the producers in Kepsut district with a ceremony, is holding a breeding sheep distribution ceremony in the district for the sixth time since the day Mayor Yücel Yılmaz took office. Together with the previous breeding animal distributions, the Metropolitan Municipality brought together a total of 762 breeding animals with breeders in Kepsut.

BALIKESİR IS A GREAT CITY IN AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

Erkan Alkan, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, said that Balıkesir is really a great city in all the products it produces in agriculture and animal husbandry and added: "Pasture improvements are being carried out. I would like to thank our Metropolitan Municipality for this. I think it is really valuable. I wish that the distributed rams will be beneficial to our producers."

EACH DAY MORE PRODUCERS ARE REACHED

Stating that Balıkesir is a city with a very large geography and has more than 900 villages in 20 districts, Kepsut Mayor İsmail Cankul said that more and more producers will be reached every day with the rams produced in the breeding facility.

Emphasizing that Balıkesir is a very beautiful city, Mayor Yücel Yılmaz underlined that the only need of the city is to work, share, support those who produce and increase productivity. Because there is a task that they focus on and set a goal for. As Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, we are also in love with our city. We are making the sixth distribution in Kepsut. We are fulfilling the promise we made to 81 citizens in the previous distribution. May our rams be auspicious.
